We received CMM measurement data from our plant for 10 parts that need to be compared. The program exports all the results into images in a pdf so none of it can be copy and pasted into Excel. Adobe’s export to Excel can’t recognize it either and just copies over jibberish. The plant is short handed and too busy to give me anything in a usable format, so now I’m copy and pasting sections into OneNote, extracting small sections of text, and putting it into Excel piece by piece. As the old guys in the office like to say, “They didn’t tell you that you’d be doing this after you graduate!”

That program is stupid.

Agreed, in this case you are a holder of popular opinion.

That`s so random for it to be the only export available. Not even a text file or anything. For shame program creator, for shame!

This is why I am happy I was in a co-op program. I learned about all the bullshit you have to do before I graduated.
